Welcome to the web site of the Research Experience for Undergraduates REU programs of the Astrophysics, Particle Physics and Nuclear Physics groups at Wayne State University.

We are currently accepting applications for our Summer 2017 program!

This web site provides various information about the Wayne State REU program funded the National Science Foundation. The application deadline for Summer 2017 program is 9 February 2017. All accepted students will receive summer stipend of $4,600 (plus housing/subsistence allowance). If you are interested, please apply!

The following links provide requirements and information for prospective student participants

We are excited to announce that in 2017 WSU REU program will partner with JETSCAPE collaboration! This will allow us to include the following institutions as possible locations for the REU students to carry out summer research: Duke University (Physics and Statistics), Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, Lawrence Livermore National Lab, MIT, Ohio State University, Texas A&M,  UC Berkeley, and Wayne State Computer Science.
